The 23-year-old "22" hitmaker earns this large amount of money thanks to the success of her fourth studio album “Red” and touring. Apart from her mega-profitable music career, Taylor Swift adds million-dollar endorsement deals with CoverGirl, Diet Coke and Sony.

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber is another young celebrity who earned the most money in 2013. The “As Long As You Love Me” singer nets $58 million thanks to his popular tour, album sales and ever-growing presence on social media. Endorsements, successful business ventures and tech investments also make Selena Gomez’s ex-boyfriend one of the richest celebrities on the planet.

Gisele Bundchen, who has worn Givenchy, Versace and Salvatore Ferragamo, is another big earner with a $42 million salary. The stunning model makes the vast majority of her money from modeling contracts and other endorsements.

One Direction

British boyband One Direction earned a staggering $42 million in 2013, making the five heartthrobs among the richest celebrities in the world. Their major sources of income include ticket sales, endorsement deals, album sales as well as merch sales.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry earned $39 million for the past 21 months. The “Roar” hitmaker’s success stems chiefly from collecting from Teenage Dream and a handful of shows. Sponsorships with Coty, PopChips and Pepsi are other sources of income that make Katy Perry one of the richest celebrities in 2013.

Jennifer Lopez

With $45 million in income, Jennifer Lopez is among the big earners in 2013. Her sources of income include her live shows and her mentor role on the Latin singing show Q'Viva.

Lady Gaga was photographed arriving at the 2014 Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday night (March 2). The “Paparazzi” star joined Hollywood's A-list for the biggest film celebration of the year, including Anne Hathaway, Emma Watson, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. However, it’s unknown whether she will present or perform at the star-studded event.

Lady Gaga made the crowd surprised as she hit the awards show without loud makeup and hard core bizarre fashion. Going old school glam for the ceremony, the 27-year-old entertainer looked pretty beautiful on the red carpet. She opted for a strapless, pink mermaid-cut Versace gown, complete with mirrored embellishments. The “ Born This Way” songstress combined her dress with a pair of Brian Atwood shoes and accessorized with a chiffon scarf. Mother Monster completed her appearance with a platinum updo, perfect lipstick and Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.

The American songstress, who was named on the Forbes 2012's list of the Most Powerful Celebrities and raked in £35 million over the past year, is set to walk down the aisle with her beau after over a year of dating. "She has told me he is the one and you know that instantly when you see them together," DJ Lady Starlight, one of Lady Gaga's closest friends, said. "They were made for each other. At first I thought he was too hot to be cool but now I think he is totally awesome. From all I have heard, I don’t think I am dropping a secret by saying they are ready to get hitched this year." It’s also said that Lady Gaga is so desperate to be close to her boyfriend Taylor Kinney that she has even been recovering from her recent hip surgery in Chicago, where the “Zero Dark Thirty” hunk is busy shooting the US TV series “Chicago Fire.”

Lady Gaga and her boyfriend Taylor Kinney were said to get married in summer 2013 when the former “Vampire Diaries” actor’s shooting schedule would be clear and the pop star’s concert and studio commitments would be minimal.

“Born This Way” singer Lady Gaga was photographed celebrating her 27th birthday in Chicago, Illinois on Friday night (March 29, 2013). The “Poker Face” crooner was accompanied by her boyfriend Taylor Kinney, who currently is on location in the city filming the NBC drama “Chicago Fire.” The lovebirds enjoyed a night out together, starting out at Richard’s Bar before heading to Polekatz Gentlemen’s Club nearby and stopping at a McDonald's for a late-night snack on the way home. Lady Gaga, who has been recovering in the lap of luxury ever since undergoing hip surgery a few weeks ago, stood out as usual in a bright red outfit and black coat. Mother Monster hid her eyes behind a pair of sunglasses, looking comfortable and happy despite being stuck in her Louis Vuitton wheelchair. Earlier in the week, Lady Gaga and her boyfriend Taylor Kinney were also spotted celebrating a romantic, early-birthday dinner at Italian eatery Spiaggia on the city’s famed Michigan Avenue. The happy pair dined on both of the restaurant’s six-course tasting menus, one which focuses on black truffles and the other on pasta.

Lady Gaga was pushed on along in her Louis Vuitton wheelchair as she celebrated her birthday with her boyfriend Taylor Kinney on Friday night (March 29, 2013).

Lady Gaga wore a bright magenta shirt and teamed it with a wide-brimmed black as her assistant pushed her across the sidewalk on the streets of Manhattan on April 3, 2013.

The “Edge of Glory” songstress has been confined to a wheelchair since February. Although the pop superstar is unable to perform, she continues to focus on promoting her fragrance “FAME.”
