American Idol 2013 contestant Lazaro Arbos, is rumoured to be a gay man after pictures of him and his alleged boyfriend have been circulated on the Internet. The Naples resident, who was born in Cuba and raised in Florida, is allegedly dating a handsome man named Ronnie Barcena, a model and personal trainer. The two make a really cute couple as they pose and smile happily together in the photos. If the rumour is true, Lazaro Arbos will follow in the footsteps of Paul Jolley, his fellow contestant at American Idol 2013, where Lazaro has captured America's heart for his musical talent and compelling personal story. The 22-year-old Cuban-born singer has built a loyal fan base and wowed the judges despite having a severe stutter. Lazaro Arbos began stuttering suddenly at the age of six for unknown reasons. He makes singing look so easy but has a difficult time speaking.

Lazaro Arbos, an ice cream scooper, showcased his jaw-dropping talent at his local church, as well as on a Miami-based competition show called Aqui Todos Ganan before taking part in American Idol 2013.

Adam Lambert avoided the topic of his sexuality, keeping the world guessing by refusing to discuss his sexual orientation while still on American Idol. He just came out of the closet a few months after his season ended. Meanwhile, Clay Aiken never publicly acknowledged that he's gay until 2008, two years after the loveable season 2 runner-up finished his “Idol” run. To Paul Jolley, not coming out might create a fan following among women that took him into the finals. The 23-year-old singer, one of the cutest contestants in Season 12, was officially named as one of the top 10 American Idol finalists on Thursday (March 7, 2013). Joining Paul in the top 10 are Burnell Taylor, Curtis Finch Jr., Devin Velez, Lazaro Arbos, Janelle Arthur, Candice Glover, Angela Miller, Amber Holcomb and Kree Harrison.
