Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia Culpo: Hot Pictures of Miss USA

Miss USA Olivia Culpo won Miss Universe 2012 during the Miss Universe Pageant at the Planet Hollywood casino on the Las Vegas Strip on Wednesday (December 19, 2012). This is the first time a Miss USA has taken the Miss Universe title home since 1997. Olivia Culpo, who won the 2012 Miss Rhode Island USA competition, took the crown after beating out 88 other beautiful women from all over the world. The 20-year-old Rhode Island native was in the final five along with first runner-up Miss Philippines, Janine Tugonon; second runner-up Miss Venezuela, Irene Sofia Esser Quintero; third-runner up Miss Australia, Renae Ayris; and fourth runner-up Miss Brazil, Gabriela Markus. Miss USA Olivia Culpo, the winner of Miss Universe 2012, will receive a wardrobe fit for a queen, a limitless supply of beauty products, an undisclosed salary and a luxury apartment in New York City.

Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia Culpo looks beautiful at the two-hour show that features performances by the band Train and Australian singer Timomatic.

The American beauty pageant titleholder is crowned by Miss Universe 2011 winner Leila Lopes. She beats out an extremely competitive field of contenders, including a first runner-up in Janine Tugonon of the Philippines after 3 week of competitions.

Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia Culpo smiles happily as she walks on the stage of the 61st annual show hosted by Giuliana Rancic of E! News, Andy Cohen of Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" and television personality Jeannie Mai.

Olivia Culpo looks stunning in her red velvet gown which is full-skirted and wintery, except for the deep, plunging neckline at the 2012 Miss Universe Pageant.

French official crown is described as a diamond rain – an unusual design.

Colombia

The crown of Colombia with the golden cross represents the Catholic religion of the country.

Belgium

The crown is believed to enthrone the refinement and simplicity of women in Belgium. This crown is made from alloy of silver, tin and crystal.
