A host of celebrities gathered at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City to attend the 2013 Delete Blood Cancer Gala on Wednesday (May 1). This year’s festivities, which drew names like Katy Perry, Coco Rocha, Georgia May Jagger and Lindsey Vonn, were hosted by Nate Berkus and DKMS founder Katharina Harf. Not only did the event feature two stirring performances by Jill Scott and Lady Antebellum, but it also honored three women with the Delete Blood Cancer Award, including fashion designer Vera Wang, actress Leighton Meester and OPI artistic director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. Besides, the red carpet of the 2013 Delete Blood Cancer Gala was full of colours and all kinds of style-obsessed types. From Katy Perry to Coco Rocha and Julie Henderson, it looked like that the beautiful women tried to stand out among the fashion pack and shined at the black-tie affair. Katy Perry arrived at the 2013 Delete Blood Cancer Gala in a blue baroque print fishtail frock by Vera Wang that was perfectly fitted to her every curve. The pop star teamed her dress with Jimmy Choo heels and accessorized with a Judith Leiber clutch. She wore Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and kept her raven hair back with a side fringe to finish off her look.
Georgia May Jagger opted for a svelte black Just Cavalli shift with peek-a-boo lace detailing to the 2013 Delete Blood Cancer Gala. The sleeveless dress featured a lace panel at the bottom of it, showing off her slim thighs and long legs. The daughter of rock star Mick jagger and model Jerry Hall combined her number with a pair of strappy heels, wearing her long blonde hair down with a slightly messy unbrushed look.
Delete Blood Cancer co-founder Katharina Harf dazzled on the red carpet in a scarlet strapless gown by Derek Lam at the event.
Coco Rocha went prim, tailored and cool but also more than a little weird. The 24-year-old supermodel looked awesome in dark skinny trousers and a dark shirt embellished jacket.
Julie Henderson chose a tangerine orange one-shoulder-dress for her bright and bold red carpet look at the 2013 Delete Blood Cancer Gala.
Model Anja Rubik looked very fashionable in a tux inspired bow-front dress that ended dramatically with a long train at the back. The ensemble was from Hedi Slimane's debut Saint Laurent collection.
