Diamond – secret of power and love

Diamond – secret of power and love By Vanessa Ford

Long time ago (about 295B.C), diamond were considered as a symbol of wealth and power because people living in this period believed that it could bring good fortune to those who carried them and be used to decorate religious icons. At that time, Kings would wear them in battle fields.

Today, the diamond represents true and eternal love. It originated from the royal engagement between Archduke Maximillian of Austria and Mary of Burgundy with diamond wedding rings in their hand. One of the most intimate and magical moments for any couple is the moment they decide to spend the rest of their life together. Nothing can mark this moment better than the ultimate symbol of “forever” - a diamond.

Diamonds are formed through many millions of years by three-specific-dimensional-crystalline-atomic structure that makes them the hardest mineral on earth. One of the hardest diamonds is found in the area of New South Wales in New England, Australia.

In the industry, diamonds are used to polish other ones or for cutting and grinding.

Diamond miners spend millions of dollars in a search for a diamondiferous kimberlite pipe. Today, most of the world\'s rough diamond production comes from Africa (Botswana, South Africa, Angola, D.R. of Congo, Namibia), Russia (Siberia), Canada (North West Territories) and Australia (Western Australia). Other diamond producing countries include Brazil, CAR, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Venezuela.

Diamonds are very expensive. One important factor of pricing a diamond is its weight or the carat (one carat is one-fifth of a gram or 200 milligrams). It is said that the higher carat, the more expensive diamond.

The Knowledge About Ore Deposits

By hongxingpeggy

The distribution of ore deposits is determined by the geological processes that formed them. Ore deposits are therefore commonly clustered in geological provinces (mineral provinces or mineral districts) with some provinces being strongly endowed in particular mineral commodities (Jaireth and Huston, 2010). An example is the Hamersley basin in the Pilbara which hosts most of Australia’s known iron ore deposits and resources. Maps showing the distribution of Australia’s major deposits and endowment by region for the major commodities (coal, copper, gold, iron ore, minerals sands, nickel, phosphate rock, lead and zinc are available at Minerals maps.

An ore(ore processing plant) is a type of rock that contains minerals with important elements including metals. The ores are extracted through mining; these are then refined to extract the valuable element(s). An ore deposit is an accumulation of ore. This is distinct from a mineral resource as defined by the mineral resource classification criteria. An ore deposit is one occurrence of the particular ore type. Most ore deposits are named according to either their location, or after a discoverer or the code name of the resource company which found it.

Ore deposits are naturally occurring accumulations or concentrations of metals or minerals of sufficient size and concentration that might, under favourable circumstances, have economic value. Economic concentrations of metals or other mineral commodities are known as ore. Mineral resources are naturally occurring concentrations of minerals that are potentially economic to extract. These are classified according to the degree of geological assurance and economic feasibility based on the McKelvey resource classification system and compiled in the national resource inventory described in Australia’s Identified Mineral Resources.

Something You Concern in Using Cone Crusher

Cone crusher is widely applied in metallurgical, construction, road building, chemical and phosphatic industry. it is suitable for hard and mid-hard rocks and ores, such as iron ores, copper ores, limestone, quartz, granite, gritstone, etc. it usually used as a secondary crusher but also it can be used as a primary crusher in processing sand and gravel. During in use, the following details should be taken into account for the longer life.

1.crusher work should always check the pressure and hydraulic locking system, work stations and so on , of which problems should be identified in time.

2The maximum crusher size of =85% to the mine mouth size, otherwise it will lead to lower production crushing, and certain components of cone crusher will be damaged.

3. Do not overload to start crusher to avoid accidents.

4 .Cone crusher ore must be allocated work in the middle of the plate, in order to prevent the
crusher overload, uneven wear of the liner; this is not allowed that put directly to the ore into the crusher cavity.

5. Gears. It is be ensured that the proper meshing gears must be covered with additional pads on the bottom, the gasket should be equal to the thickness of circular plate.

6 .Spring. The role of the spring is of important. In the conditions when foreign bodies that are hard to break go into the crushing cavity or for some reasons the equipment is overload, the spring insurance system will realize insurance function, cone crusher's discharge outlet increases, and the foreign bodies are discharged from the crushing cavity. If foreign bodies stuck in discharge outlet, and cavity clear up system will be used, the outlet continues to open bigger, the foreign bodies will be discharged from the cone crusher cavity. Then, under the force of the spring, the discharge outlet will be automatic reset, the spring cone crusher equipment continues its normal work.
