The “No Strings Attached” hunk and the “Baby” heartthrob were on the talk show to promote the March 29 premiere of the MTV prank show, Punk'd.
Justin is one of several celebrity guest hosts on the upcoming ninth season of the reality series, which sees the pranks on the stars. The Canadian pop sensation joked about the first episode with country singer Taylor Swift, "She's such a sweet girl, so I wanted to make her cry."

The “Somebody to love” singer loved working with executive producer and original Punk'd host Ashton Kutcher, calling him the "master". He said: "For this Punk'd thing that we're doing, he's the master. I've always been a prankster and I love the show so it's great to get to do it." Ashton Kutcher was happy to pass the baton to Bieber after the duo compared practical joke stories. He explained: 'I spoke to my producing partner and said "If that kid wants to do the show, and you feel that he can pull it off, that's the kid. Bring him in". And we sat down and talked about it and he was telling me about some of the pranks he was pulling on the people in his crew, and I was really impressed with some of the stuff he was pulling off and I was like "Yeah, let's go".'
